Really good submarines. I usually get the spicy ones. However the portion is not as much as what previous owners gave.
Run by a very kind Vietnamese lady and the food is delicious, especially for such a reasonable price!
The Hotpot was the best thing I've eaten all week. The staff was very friendly
This place is a m a z i n g. The food is awesome, my father and sister had beef bulgogi and it was honestly amazing. I had japchae and we had some dumpling soup and everything was amazing. My brother had the seafood and it was great, the
I am absolutely in love with this place. We have been coming here consistently for brunch for the past few months because the food is great and the people are awesome. Also, a bit shout out to the chef because her SOUPS are literally out of this world!!!!!
Went for my birthday lunch. Amazing fries, loved the sandwich and the cocktails. The mocha and hazelnut soft serve was the best. I’ll be back!
Really good food, very tasty. Not expensive. Very small restaurant. I can understand that they wanted to do something different with the dining room but the wooden boxes that they use for chairs are to big for that space and very difficult
Forgetting my wallet at work and having to drive back to near Algonquin from Carlsbad after a long day turned out to be a good thing! I called Koichi Ramen and they didn't disappoint. They were busy and running a bit behind, but they were
Portions are large, very good price for what you get, and it’s very delicious! Best Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa. Dishes that you otherwise don’t get at other places that offer Vietnamese cuisine.
First choice for Vietnamese food in Ottawa. Quality is always top notch. Consistency is key folks. The standard is set here and not many restaurants can meet it. 10/10!
Been many times - but they are failing on their dishes now. The pad kee mow was inspirational in the past with authentic fresh ingredients such as holy basil. Now - that sensation is missing and comparable to this express.
Delicious food at at reasonable price. The staff are very friendly as well. The restaurant has great seating with many booths available and feels very welcoming.
It's a great dinning dining experience for us.. Each and every item was delicious and worth every penny.. Will highly recommend friends and family.
I haven't been here in many years and was amazed at how much it has improved. It was bright, quick and the food was fresh and yummy. I was there on a quiet Saturday morning. Thanks to corona scare. Silver linings. 😉
A cute place with fun food ideas in Chinatown! Would recommend the mac dumplings, they are surprisingly delicious. Very friendly staff.
Was in town visiting and came across this little gem of a spot last night, great food, great service, intimate and cozy. Some really creative dishes with flavor combos that did it for me. The Kimchee Fries are out of this world. Will be back next time I'm in Ottawa!! Great job guys Ottawa needs more spots like this...
Mekong is one of the oldest Chinese Restaurants in Chinatown OTTAWA. The ownership has been changed recently. It reopens just couple days ago. It got renovated to a brand-new look inside. Simple but classy. Second floor can host private
Excellent westernized Chinese food with free parking in the heart of Ottawa’s Chinatown
The restaurant was pretty nice :) they bring you a gas grill if you're doing the Korean barbecue but you have the option of not cooking the meat yourself if you wish. Personally I find the option of self cooking to be fun specially when you
nice place but portions are not really big. also service is slow compared to some other Korean restaurants. would still recommend the bibimbap they have
Dumplings were good, service was great and the restaurant has a really nice aesthetic - bright wood walls.
Extremely delicious Chinese dumplings. Cute, cozy, casual, sit down restaurant. They specialize in handmade dumplings but also offer a handful of other items. They have bubble tea here. I have been eating at Dumpling Bowl for years now and
I highly recommend this restaurant not because of its quality and delicious food but also because of the service here! The food was unbelievably delicious, if you love dimsum, don’t forget to ask for a dimsum menu (if you come in dinner
On a snowy Sunday our plan was to go to a restaurant across the street which was closed, our second option same. No choice but select one quickly we saw the sign for this which said Schewan and assumed would give us some spicy food options
Atmosphere and music is great. Really good sushi and sashimi here! I’ve dined in many sushi restaurants and this place is one of the best.
We were in here towards the end of the night. Our server was very friendly and accommodating super helpful. The sushi was really good however it was not the best I've ever had. But definitely good and I would go again.
They have the best Singaporean fried vermicelli in the city! For 13.95, it’s a huge portion with generous toppings of chicken, charsiu, and shrimps. I’m definitely coming back to try more. For a Chinese restaurant, the staffs were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend them!
So Good used to be one of my favourite places in Chinatown: simple decor, amazing food, and a memorably gregarious chef-owner (think David Chow of Momofuku). Last year it changed hands, and while the decor is slightly renewed and they still
Very nice homey place. Please check the schedule as I assume they take a break from lunch to prep for dinner in the later afternoon. Quality of the food is amazing and the service is 10/10. A lot of smiles that goes around. My personal fave is the General tao! You will not be disappointed!!
Ordered takeout. Good prices for a lot of food but I found it very bland. General Tso’s chicken was small strings of highly battered chicken with no crunch soaked in a tasteless sweet sauce that was bright red but lacked any acidic counter
The food is always great here. The servers are friendly and attentive with your orders/request. We’ve never left this place disappointed with the quality of their food - especially with it being very affordable.
I enjoy the food and service here.
The best place for banh mi! Thanks for offering takeout during the current pandemic.
By far the best place in Ottawa. This is 30B with an extra egg. It's too bad I don't live in the area anymore. Otherwise, I'd enjoy this place more often. The food is just too damn good and the price is very low.
The dumplings were excellent! Highly recommend their dim sum. Couldn't give 5 stars though because our first waiter was actually not great, he was kind of rude actually... but he must have finished his shift because we had a second waiter
Nice ambiance. The menu is a fantastic mixe of spicy and non space dishes. It's better to go with freinds or family
Hands down, THE BEST PHO VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN OTTAWA!!! The hubby and I have been coming here at least once a week (sometimes twice) for the past year and a half (and counting). They have wonderful customer service, excellent and
We had a good experience at Saigon Boy. The pho we ordered was flavourful and delicious. The bbq chicken dish was also great and the portion generous. We also had the shrimp spring rolls which were ok but I wouldn’t order again. The service is great. The have booster chairs for kids.
Ventured in tonight trying a different location. Had the Tom Yum soup and both shrimp and beef rice wraps. Service was on point. Food tastes spectacular. Very fresh and appetizing. Definitely will be back and recommend to our friends and family.
Service was quick and the food was filling. Sports on the TV, fish tank, plants and a sunroom made this place feel very comfy to eat at.
