Cosy place for great pastas! The staff was friendly and approachable. Do look out for their 'pasta of the day' too.
I had the Sapristi pasta - my companion had the Two Salmon pasta - both were Excellent! Staff very friendly and prices were better than most restaurants in this area. Would return should I find myself in Old Quebec again.
Sat up at the bar after exploring the shops nearby. Was originally only going to have a drink, but saw some of the dishes being delivered to other tables and decided to make a meal of it. Glad we did! Very tasty pasta dishes to compliment
You hungry? Want great service, food and atmosphere? This is the place to be. Truly enjoyable, friendly and a warm welcome at the end of a day of exploring old Quebec!
Comfortable atmosphere with great wait staff. The food was wonderful. The pasta sauce was some of the best I've ever had and the mac and cheese with bacon was amazing
Absolutely stellar. Reminded me a bit of the Alinea experience. A hidden door with a code, underground cellars in an 18th Century merchant building, Locally sourced cuisine adventurously designed and delivered by attentive & friendly waiters. Would go again in a heartbeat.
This is a once in a lifetime restaurant experience and we’ve been fortunate to eat here twice in 3 months. You should do this. Take a loan on the house if you need to do so but do it. You will not regret it. The food is phenomenal and it
Without question this is one of the top meals & experiences I have had. Everything from the wine pairing, staff, food and ambience was exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Quebec City. Make sure to choose
Very special evening, just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening. It’s a 3 hour, tasting menu experience. With different rooms/ambiance, servers & many many dishes. Service was friendly, knowledgable & offered in a really beautiful, comfortable relaxing environment.
Creative and impressive menu!Love the decor! Good culinary experience. Why 4 stars? Wine pairing is less impressive
We were wowed with every course of this tasting menu!!! My husband and I did the omnivore and vegetarian options, then shared, which was the best way to try so many fun, creative, fancy dishes. The presentation, attention to detail and
Very tasty food, at a slightly elevated price. The smoked duck was delicious, as was our fish-of-the-day. It is a very good place to check out if you've got gluten allergies. Wine was expensive but decent (the one I got wasn't my type, but it was a shot in the dark).
Tasteful modern decor in an historic building only a few steps from the Quebec City ferry terminal. Food is excellent, tastes are amazing, and the staff is top notch. I enjoyed the chef's "Discovery" menu and it was superb. Will definitely return. A memorable, high-level dining experience.
Excellent service & food - this was a great find! Cocktails were very good, food fresh and exciting. Excellent service.
First thing that comes in mind, outstanding. First time we went there with friends, the dishes were amazing. Make sure you reserve.
A little treasure. Every bit of our meal was delicious. The service was top notch. We left seeking a wonderful, secret ingredient that had been used in one of our meals and found it at the Grand Marché. Pictures below. Sugar kelp. Who would have thought?
Great food, lovely atmosphere. Our server Ian was excellent. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Fantastic and cozy bistro in Old Québec City. Classically French but with Québec touches. Wine selection was great. Service delightful. But the food was amazing! Get the small pot of mussels unless you are sharing with a group. Look forward to going back.
This place has cozy rustic feel. Great seafood pasta
It’s a restaurant serving tourists. The food quality was below the average. It was disappointing.
It was our last night in Quebec City, so we stopped at Chic Shack for a quick supper. We had the “Le Chic” burger and a side of maple pepper chips. After waiting for 20 minutes, as the place was packed. The burger was tasty, but the patty
Super friendly staff. Great food and location. We had a window view of the Chateau Frontenac which was awesome.
Burger is good but nothing to write home about. The signature sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were among the best we ever had. I'd come back everyday to have them, if I could.
Nice atmosphere, great service! It is comfort food a step above in quality!Chateau Frontenac, 2 steps to the right and the canons, 2 steps to the left making it a great location when visiting!
Great food! I try to eat here every time I visit Quebec City. I particularly like let chic and let shack burgers and the Signature fries. The dark chocolate shake is a near-death experience in the best possible way.
