Thanj you for organizing your working hours and made it more easy for elderly people to shop. Well done!
One rude young worker didn't allowed me to enter the store today (Apr.22, 2020) stating that the person who entered in front of me lives in the same household as myself. My intention to provide my ID or to prove any other way got rejected.
This store is terrible. They just switched their bags to ones without handles, making it impossible to shop here. I guess their goal is to make things harder for their customers.
Best place to get breakfast on the way to work. Bagel with egg/bacon/cheese + medium coffee for just over $4. You can't get that price anywhere in this area.
Coffee and bagel shop always runs out of whole wheat bagels before 9am....clearly it is a popular bagel. Should probably stock more for breakfast time
Picked up foil wrapped potatoes only to find 2 of the 4 of them are moldy. Never had issues with produce until today. Gross...
Danny the store manager and Sanda were such sweethearts when I bought some hand sanitizers for donation to a shelter. They helped organize and pack them for me in a very neat fashion and was so encouraging. Thank YOU for putting yourselves
The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean. This location gets its share of trouble from the "locals" so to speak but that
Good metro, even it a little smaller than others. The meat is always fresh and the butcher here is good and informative. Being part of Ryerson campus footprint the cooked/prepared food goes quickly so
Crowd control during quarantine was poor. Overall great price for groceries for those on budget. Fresh and lots of variety too
Great place in Chinatown to go and buy fresh produce. You can get some really solid deals here if you know how to shop. Anything that seems it is about to spoil, avoid it. Otherwise their other produce is very fresh due to high turnover and
Very nice clean store great selection. Prepared food good too.
More expensive then alternatives in the area! Would recommend walking an extra 500m to the other local shopping stores in the vicinity as you'll get better pricing and shopping experience.
Rude cashier ever. I spoke English to explain with them that the bone I bought is beef bone not pork bone but they just responded to me by Chinese. they also responded to me so disrespectfully. sorry, I am not Chinese, I just look like chinese. I hope they are smarter with their communication.
One of the Chinese Super Market in Toronto downtown China town. Good customer service. Lots of selections of East Asian Fruits and Vegetables are available on lowest price. Also got Chinese and Other East Asian products are available too.
Love this place! Very good quality produce and they even have gluten-free products even though the store is small. The staff is always pleasant. Thank you for your hard work!
Don't buy "fresh food" or refrigerated food here as it's either stale or undercooked. Bad lunch experiences with their sushi and the bbq chicken/ fried rice. Many other places across the street for the same thing.
Great selection of Korean, Japanese and Chinese foods. They also have ongoing promotions for ready to eat items, most of which are pretty tasty.
Your quaint little Korean spot for all your needs!!
The only place I know of to get all the dried Chili's you need to make all sorts of Mexican things. If you can't find your Mexican ingredients here then forget about the recipe..... Kensington market itself leaves a lot to desire. 😷
Best place in the city to get hard to find Mexican and Central American ingredients. They are super helpful if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for or where in the store it is, and happily put up with you practicing your Spanish.
One of the greatest store in the neighbourhood. With an amazing stuff. And great :-) staff You can pile up the great amount of points. When you shop here fro groceries and pharmacy oh Did I mention that there's a great Starbucks in there too :)
DO NOT GO THERE! They are selling expired products. Yesterday, I bought a tart and there was mold inside. Then, I went to the store, bakery manager was so rude. Even thought I provided my receipt, she was not providing the best customer
The best little grocery store in town. Downtown in the heart of Chinatown hides this gem, boasting authentic East Asian groceries, spices and very fair prices. Checkout the fascinating landmark court case the owner won regarding apprehending a shoplifter. I hope this store never goes away!
This is really nice and vibrant chinese grocery. They have a lot of stuff for cheap. The veggies are good and if you have the stomach the meat shop inside has fresh fish. The place is kept clean and the customer service is crisp. Quick walk from St. Patrick so easy to get there as well.
This is a good store clean well-kept I have no complaints. My only problem with this store is that they are perpetually moving things around so I can never find anything. On the other hand the shelves are well-stocked their produce is fresh and frankly their prices are better than some of the other stores in the area
Large, clean and modern well-stocked Metro. It also has convenient indoor access into the subway system.
This store is huge, always very clean and the staff are very interested in helping you with anything that you are not sure about. They're open 24 hours and they also sell beer until 11pm. They have a bunch of self check out machines as well
I liked the hrs which is 24/7. Prices a tad steep but setup/display is excellent and efficient placed. Renovations increased space and gave it an improved look. All conducive for your shopping experience.
Great options for lunch. With the impressive salad bar, hotbar, pizza bar, sushi, bakery and selection of grab & go items- there is lots of choice. Be careful with the salad bar/hot bar, it can get fairly pricey as it's as weighted. Limited non-perishable item selection due to size of the store, but you can still get all the staples.
Small downtown shop near the St. Patrick subway stop and the hospital corridor. Hot table, large Sajjad bar, floral section, Starbucks, along with all the regular grocery store offerings. There's a couple of small tables near the entrance and a few more outside. Reasonable prices fur the downtown location.
Found what I was looking for without any trouble. Great H mart!
Mini Asian supermarket that packs a major punch: food and snack essentials for downtowners, whether you're looking to cook a feast or throw together tasty snacks. Also sells crispy Korean-style fried chicken!
This might not be as 'flashy' as some other grocery stores around but, do not let the looks fool you. This place offers good stuff at amazing prices. A must for groceries.
