Amazing food, clean, reasonable price, and excellent customer service. Best Ethiopian restaurant I've been at so far.
Enjoyable restaurant-experience! Great food and friendly service
Amazing place to grab Ethiopian food. Very friendly staff. They occasionally have life performances too.
You know how you've found a great place? The server takes real pride in describing the food! I love the sour bread, eating with hands and the flavours on the plate. I'm a self professed foodie, and this was such a refreshing change! Try the vegetarian platter and the lamb!
Solid place, we went as part of First Table, before a game. Service was excellent (though they forgot our fish tacos, we got two servings pulled pork and we were too full to get the fish though they offered). The servers were super
I celebrated my graduation this evening in this fine place. I am glad to say that we passed a enjoyable evening and the place was surely one of the reasons for that successful evening. The crew cooperated in a graceful manner, the food was
This is my second time being here and wow what a great spot for a Saturday date night! We loved the presentation and taste of all the dishes we ordered, plus the staff are cool. The pulled pork tacos are the bomb by the way. Will definitely be back.
Friendly staff, very delicious food at a good price. Love everything we ordered. Must return.
Food is always sooo delicious, and the portions are great for big groups as well. Good sharing portions and seating arrangements. It gets busy so reservations are a good option. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some tasty Spanish food. ps. The pork belly was DELICIOUS 😍
Our party had the best experience last night! Props to Charles, our amazing server. We hadn’t eaten much during the day and he recommended a $45/person tasting experience where he worked with the kitchen to bring out plates and tastes of
We wanted to go for so long, finally made it. You can't make a reservation for small groups. If y want guaranteed seating be there 15-20 minutes before they open. Cozy interior, very assertive and friendly service. The food was great. Nice
Excellent service and food as always!!! Great courteous staff. No room at bar but the hostess went and asked patrons to scoot down into the empty seats in between and sat us at the bar whilst waiting for our table. Jake the bartender was so
Good restaurant if you want to share a few plates with friends and cocktails. Located in the middle of Chinatown near Keefer bar. No online reservations as you'll have to walk in. My favorite dishes:
Our server was really nice. We ordered the hot and sour soup and it was a bit too spicy for us. He helped us tone down the spice by giving us a scoop of their coconut peanut candy cilantro ice scream. It was also very thoughtful that they proactively asked us if we have any allergies. Loved their dumpling skin. Was perfect!
Great dinner eats & good service. My go-to door for a hearty breakfast. Front doors are heavy but open easily; tables to right (& both ends) are wheelchair accessible (don't know about the rest I always go to the same section).
Come hungry and bring a friend. Big, heavy, creative breakfasts at a great price. The Mountie was a combo of sweet, rich, salty, savoury. Two of us split it and came away full.
We are tourists and found this on a whim. What a whim it was. Lovely authentic diner. Great local business and you should get down here to support it!
Cosy place for brunch!Fantastic Service!Biscuits and Gravy is really good!Hashbrowns are perfect!
$8.5 is the basic breakfast.. and it’s decent. PRO: sourdough toast is thick. CON: shredded potatoes are a little soggy in the centre. BONUS: I do like how the peanut butter and jam comes in mini metal cups.. as opposed to plastic packages.
This is a small place but the ambience is great. The beers are some of the best I have had and they even have different varieties for weekends and weekdays.
great cozy place good ambiance. ordered patatas bravas and all season stout

Container Brewing had a great selection of beer and a wonderful atmosphere! Between the warm wood, live plants, and extremely friendly staff this is a place you'd be sorry to miss. After only being open 5 weeks they already had regulars and
Attended a friend's birthday here. Closed the whole restaurant. Food platters of pork heads, tails, chops and ribs. All slow cooked and smoked to perfection . Sides of corn bread skillets, coleslaw and roasted root vegetables. Wine was
A beautiful restaurant offering a high end, gastronomic experience. Truly a foodie spot that decries exemplary and unique fare. Great bartender Matthew guided our 5 course adventure in a warm and charming atmosphere. Great service, beautiful aesthetics, divine grub, sea urchin patê for the win.
Our table of four went for the 'I want it all' . . 12 courses for $62/pp. The only menu item which I could not get behind was the Ink Brioche. . and it was the appearance not the taste that was off putting. . .the black brioche looked like
After a year, visited again, more experienced with dishes and the Mackenzie room is still amount the top place I would like to dine at in Vancouver.
Creative food. I loved the "chicken of the sea". Most amazing dish. Very good service. Unique design. Friendly and cozy atmosphere. We went with the a la card menu instead of the tasting menu. The bison steak was tender and well prepared.
Good food. Love the vibe there. No place like it .
Got the House Burger. It's only $10 tax included, great tasting burger for a great deal 😄 Loved the crunch of the onion rings.
Great value diner food with really friendly service. The historical decor makes you feel like you've entered a different era. Had the fish burger and fish n chips and both were delicious! Great coffee as well.
Food is decent. Service is decent. Prices are good. Interior is old, but VERY authentic. I had the Clubhouse, and it was made with big pieces of real turkey, so that's a good sign. Fries look like they are hand-chipped, although they come unseasoned, so a little salt and pepper makes them much tastier.
Take a step back. In tiime the place has not changed in fifty years. It is easy on the wallet and you can take your time the food is filling and fresh coffe warms the frozen and there's no lines.
I've never had a meal here and it certainly didn't disappoint. Had made a reservation for Valentine's Day and my date and I both had a great time. Both the food and service were top notch.
I visit this superb restaurant from time to time because I like the ambiance that is outline this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably attentive and professional. The service is impressively rapid. Most important, the food
Sooo this is a pasta place, but you can only choose between about 5 mains? Nice joke. But not the last. To be able to see your dish, you’ll need an electron microscope. And the best of it: they are asking 28$ for it. Worst meal of my whole Canada Trip.
Really good pasta here. Like the others are saying, it's worth the wait. So keep in mind if you go during peak hours and are in a rush.
Great food overall. Great value and service. Great pasta, meat balls are out of this world. Deserts are good too. Well worth the visit. They don’t take reservations, so go early.
I didn't try the food. But Javier worked with me to put together a custom mezcal flight. He listened to my tastes and make great recommendations. He was very knowledgeable. Service overall was excellent. I wouldn't hesistate to return to try out the food and cocktails.
Lovely unique Mexican food in a setting with a cool atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Had a lovely dinner here. Service was efficient and prompt. The interior was vintage Asian and ambience was beautiful. The only complaint I had was that the room was a little warm for me
We enjoyed great food and service in an open stylish space. The cocktails that we tried were all refreshing and delicious.
Great service and cocktails. Our server recommended a bunch of great dishes that we all loved. Great idea for Italian Japanese food. Will be back for sure
Great food and cocktails! A reservation is a must because its always busy for a good reason. A good amount of celebrities come here as well! The drink, your personal tokyo, is probably my favorite out of all bars/restaurants
Amazingly enchanting place in Vancouver! Love the speakeasy-like ambiance. A must visit when you’re in town. The Japanese-Italian food was simply great and cocktails were done really well. Can’t wait to visit again!
While the thai was delicious, it was mostly sauce in the chickenpad thai with 4 fork size pieces of thon chicken and mostly onions and few of them .The shrimp curry was very tasty sauce but only 5 decent size shrimp and chopped green onion. To skimpy on ingredients so wont be going back.
The most authentic, fresh, delicious Thai food I've had the pleasure of enjoying outside of Thailand. Tom Yum fried rice was incredible and done right! Service was exceptionally kind and attentive. A pleasure!
My favourite Thai place, and favourite spot for vegan options in Vancouver. We eat here about once a week. The food is delicious, there's lots to choose from, service is friendly, prices are incredibly fair and it is clean and spacious inside. 10/10 recommend. We love you TK!!
Over priced.Small portion.
Great food, friendly service. One of the better Thai restaurants in the city. Tastes like when I was in Thailand.
Great food Low tide price friendly staff (ordered 3 glasses of house wine and got the whole bottle!) Coconut shrimp is a must try!
Rarely can one indulge in the freshest purest most varied oysters and clams perhaps in North America as you can at Rodney's in Vancouver. A great delight and treat. The waiters, bartender, servers are sooo much fun. Absolutely my one must
what can i say! really fresh oysters with a wide variety of sauces to choose from! the staff was patient and kind enough to tell us where each oysters are from and gave some good recommendations. We also tried the clam soup(both red&white) and they were amazing as well! overall sucha great experience, great time, great staff✨✨✨✨
We didn't even notice how Rodney's Gastown location turned in one of our favorites in town. Before, we mainly went to Fanny Bay to feed the craving for oysters but decided to try Rodney's one day, and there's no coming back. Upon our first
Liked it. Pricey oysters though. New England clam chowder was excellent
Ordered from doordash. Burgers and yam fries. First, you can tell they do not change their oil frequent enough for fries. My yam fries were dark.. and you I can taste that the oil they used is not fresh
while out in Gastown, we were encouraged to check out local and we were so very glad we were! If you’re looking for a laid back bar, with amazing food and drinks, great music, and an inviting atmosphere, look no further than Local! We
Awesome quarantine response. Great food and people. Fair prices too with lots of deals and happy hour.
I ordered the crispy chicken sandwhich with fries and a side of gravy. The sauce says 'bbq mustard' you should just get rid of the word 'bbq' because all I taste is mustard. My gravy was $2, I personally think that is overpriced for a
Loved the Local. Ate outside in Cafe. Great sandwiches & salad. Hostess Asia was patient and accommodating to get seating that suited our needs. Wish we could have eaten there again!
Despite located in Vancouver’s east side, the food is definitely worth visiting. Guest can make a reservation online with the restaurant and are required to leave a credit card.
Love the cozy atmosphere. It's best to go in a group of 3-4 and share the entrees as they are very heavy, but delicious. I had dinner here twice now but don't think I'll be coming back soon as it's just too heavy of a meal. Dishes are very creative and you can tell they put in a lot of effort.
I went here for my B-day. Sat in front of the chefs. I had a great view as stuff was always happening. We started off with the pork rinds and they were good. I had beef cheek and it wasn't memorable. Very bland. The dessert of lemon tart
The meal tonight was amazing on a lot of levels. The food was delicious, well prepared, and it was fun to watch the chefs work harmoniously in a clean, quiet and orderly kitchen. The server was great, very knowledgeable about the menu and
Had the pleasure of visiting this place on a friend’s recommendation. Everything was on a a very good level missing just a tiny little bit for me to be and to call it spectacular. I was slightly unimpressed by the starter (bison tongue),
Went to $45 dine out event. It contains 6 courses plus a dessert. All served by family style, each course come with one dish, me and my bf share everything. The service is amazing, they take care of your feeling, explain each dishes and
This is truly a special dining experience. 6 course meal, paired beautifully with wine, sake and cocktails. Went during "Dine out Vancouver" and was in awe. Will return, if only to sit at the prestigious chef's table. My favourite dish was
I'd give this a 3.5. I've only been once, for Dine Out Vancouver, so this might have affected my experience. The food is very innovative. We enjoyed the combination of ingredients and flavours. The sablefish in the broth particularly, was
Truly fine dining experience during a very challenging time for local restaurants. We were blown away by the quality of the dishes, and presentation (despite requiring delivery). Very reasonably priced. We loved the pork belly bowl, brussel
Holy delicious! Cool atmosphere • Great service. Pork belly and rice was so tasty--I recommend. I even had the owner specially cut it up and mix it for me so that I could enjoy the full flavors and textures together😊.
VV Tapas Lounge is a bright spot in the bleak apocalypse that is this modern day. My wife and I loved the food, wine, and felt the value fair. We will be ordering from here again.
Fantastic wine list, and the chef is doing some some amazing things pickling various veggies. Yum! Charcuterie board was delicious. Can't wait to try the brunch!
Such a great place for any occasion. From celebrating, to a happy hour drink after work. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Dawn and Claude have made me feel at home every time I’ve been there. Such a great addition to the neighbourhood and community.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Me and my family had a fantastic dinner here the other night and will 100% be returning. Great decor as well!
The food here is amazing! They have beautiful charcuterie boards and their risotto is incredible. Plus the service was great too. Also, we went for happy hour which are drink specials only but it was easy to get a table which is unheard of in Vancouver. I'd definitely go back.
Food was so yummy! Had the salmon hash and it was one of my favorite breakfast things in a while. Poached eggs were perfect and loved the sauce that it came with. Be careful of the beets puree though, it's smeared all over the plate for an added pop of color and will stain everything it touches.
I visit this place at least once every year. The squid-ink pasta and lamb gnocchi are a must on my list.
Went there for breakfast on a weekend. We ordered salmon hash, postmark skillet, breakfast wrap and Belgard bacon. The breakfast wrap was very good and filling.Tried two pieces of the Belgard bacon which were a bit thick and not tasty even with
Such a quaint spot. Belgard Kitchen is part of the Vancouver Urban Winery and Brewery so lots to do in one small space. The brunch menu was small enough but everything looked delicious and I liked the layout of the space and use of tables etc. Food was great and service was lovely.
I ordered a Mother's Day Brunch meal kit from Edmonton for my sister in Vancouver. What a wonderful treat this was for her! She loved it and it was the perfect combination for a light brunch. Bonus that it was for two people (& her husband
