The sushi here is always amazing. All the sashimi is so fresh. My favourite sushi place in Vancouver and it's worth the higher price.
Good service! Very fresh ingredients!Strongly recommend Unagi Don and spicy tuna cone!
Nice selection of rolls, we had the chef’s special and the spicy tuna. I had better sashimi in other places, although the portion is good for the price. The fried oysters were pretty tasty and the udon was good too.
My friend brought me here for the first time and I was disappointed with myself for not knowing this place existed. We ate so much sashimi because they offered so many fresh variations. I highly recommend coming here.
This restaurant is the good one of Authentic Japanese cuisine.Assorted Sashimi is very fresh, sweet by natural of ingredients especially I love to eat “Hamachi or Buri”very fresh, good texture, very sweet.Deluxe Sashimi is very good too.The

Kyle is an excellent chef who creates new dishes that are both exciting and delicious. Great food. Great experience
Chef Kyle Gerrard and the Green Artichoke Team deliver the kind of culinary experience that takes your breath away. I can’t say enough about the care and precision he puts into each dish and the humble elegance of his flavours. 5 stars again and again and again!
Always excellent service and great food; I would even have to say I have never had a bad meal here. I have had the terrine champagne, mussels, penne Marsala, seafood linguini French onion soup, duck, and the bread with butter are all
The brunch menu was pretty good except that everything has cheese and dairy in it, so that was unfortunate. While the food was good, there was just too much potatoes and the food was a bit on the greasy side. The French onion soup was really good tho.
We enjoyed our food a lot. Nice service and the baked potato was the best I had. So crispy!
Food is fantastic but it took 45 mins to prepare the food because under staff
Good value! No corkage fee on Tuesday BYOB. They have a wine lost as well.
This was the first restaurant I went to when I visited Vancouver and I loved it! They offer tasty food, reasonably priced. Later on I was surprised to find out Banana Leaf was somewhat of a chain... they are all over Vancouver!
This is the Banana Leaf I recommend. A beautiful modern room and always reliable food. Excellent service,Sad that they no longer have their sublime Dungeness crab at reasonable priced.
Food came at a relatively fast rate. My favourites are definitely their satay skewers, pineapple fried rice, and sambal fried green beans!!! It’s all their must get items. Their rotis are great as well with their curry. Lots of different
The best Malaysian restaurant in town. This is my favourite location, b/c it's the most spacious and isn't as busy as the Broadway & Cambie location.
Street parking. Great menu, ok wine list. Friendly service. Delicious food. Outdoor seating available.
The highlight of the menu are the oysters of course. The oyster menu was large but the supply more limited to three varieties. The oysters were outstanding; very fresh and clean. The deep fried calimari is delicious; so is the kale and
I love Chewies! It’s our great neighborhood spot in Kits where you’re always welcome to drop in for a drink and maybe a dozen oysters. Oysters are premium quality, good selection of local craft beer and BC wine. And if you’re hungry, the fried chicken can’t be beat. Service A++.
Everything from the food to the drinks were great. I'm not much for sea food my self, but the rib and mac n' cheese was fantastic. The service was great, and each dish my friends and i had were great. Deserts were also awesome. Glad to enjoy dinner here and deffinitly encouraged to come back
Only place I can find deep fried chicken skins and it's the best!!! Staff also nice.
I'm very mixed on this place.... My brunch experience her was absolutely awesome, and I would absolutely recommend it... My one other experience, I was told the fried chicken was awesome.... My food took almost 40 minutes, and it was burnt
No reservations taken here. First come, first served. Good food, good service. Was here on a Friday evening and the place was busy & loud - great atmosphere. Short wait before we got a table. Our server was engaging & knowledgeable (I
Food was great.. prices were a little on the pricey side. Portions were reasonable. Not great .. the pizza although delicious was small for 14-16 dollars. As much as I like this place.. It will not be my first choice next time
The bad: it was busy, there was quite a wait to get in, it was loud. The good: Great service, delicious food. We really enjoyed our meal. Service was timely and friendly. Food came fairly quickly even though it was super busy. Really
Nook is situated in the heart of Kitsilano on the West Side of Vancouver. They are owned by the same owners who own Tavolla, and so you should expect the same quality in food, drinks, service - it’s amazing!
An overall great dinner. The arugula and parmeasan salad was delicious and light. The special pasta was pretty good too and the sausage pizza was delicious (but spicy). The tiramisu was soooo good, definitely recommend that!! Only downfall is they don't take resos so you might have to wait!
Came here right after dinner just for drink. It’s always good no matter I came when they just opened or 5 years later now. The quality of their food is so consistent. Love this place!
This was a long overdue experience for us. We were thrilled that the food, service and space lived up to its name. Essentially, we wanted to try everything on the menu and did our best to tackle many of the items. We went for both the
Just had the 7 course tasting menu. So light, everything compliments the next. Service was very good too. Very good value for money.
Fantastic food. Mind blown. Service from Sam was immaculate. He definitely deserves a raise. Must try bread, squash, squid, and sablefish. Good music without being too loud that you cannot carry a conversation. 10/10
This was our first visit to AnnaLena, we were taking advantage of the Dine Out Vancouver 2020 Menu.
Chef recommended this place and we were not disappointed. True bistro fare on a chilly Vancouver night was just what we needed. More varied wine selections would be our only request
This is a great room. Love the atmosphere, sat in the window nook and enjoyed the vantage point.
Cozy, French bistro with exceptional service! They don't take reservations, and it can be busy, so try to arrive a little early. We shared a free plates, and then a main, no disappointments. You won't find re-invented dishes here, but what you get is fantastic, perfectly prepared and presented. The Paris sour cocktail is a must try.
Best mushroom risotto I've ever tasted. Also the duck breast was absolutely amazing. My palette has missed having delicious french food ever since my parent's restaurant named Mistral Bistro has closed and this most certainly hits the spot!! Will return again 100% to try other dishes again!!
Went for lunch with our baby girl. The staff sat us in a great spot for when you have a tiny human strapped to your chest. Food was delicious. Will go again!
Authentic Thai food!!! Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Either if you are looking for a knock out of the park first date or an excellent experience with family or friends, this place is a most try. The dishes are incredibly well
I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I got to say the service is always great and they keep the place clean constantly. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.
From the moment you come to this restaurant the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very comfortable waiters, it is a friendly place to pass time with buddies or with your date. Excellent cooking, talented chief cook and stuff, good price and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Tasty Thai food with friendly service! Portions are slightly on the smaller side, but the flavours make up for it. I wish the curries came with more sauce so that I can make the meal last longer.
I'm visiting from the Philippines and was craving Thai, I've never had food like this since I went to Bangkok! The green chicken curry is creamy and has the perfect balance of coconut milk and spices, the chicken is moist and cooked
We really enjoyed this restaurant. We went here looking for the ITALIAN PIZZA. And I got to admit that this one is pretty close to it. Until now the best pizza in Vancouver. The ingredients are fresh, and they have true prosciutto, that is
$16 for caprese salad = 5 slices of tomato + a couple mozzarella chunks. Just that. Absolutely ridiculous.
Authentic Italian pizza and pasta serving by Italian server and cooked by Italian chef. Table is too small and being too close to next table in this small restaurant. Food and service are fine. But compare to the branch in airport outlet,
Food is awesome, especially the pizza bread, the texture and flavour are delicious. Best to go on Thursday when they have live music and half off wine. :)
Love this place super stylish cool pretty kind welcoming stuff great for dates I guess live music in the evening.. totally deserves a 5star
10 months post launch of Arike, eventually made it with two of my friends...The food was great and very tasty (just FYI in small portions), perfect location
Super flavorful food and a very cozy ambience! The service was really great; they were welcoming and friendly! Would highly recommend
Great dinner! We took the suggestions from our server and tried some of the most popular dishes: Corn Fritters, Goat Dumplings, Mini Burgers, Onion Rings. We enjoyed everything very much. Service was excellent and pricing very good for the
👌🏾 Excellent! The vibe, the service & the food. Girlfriend even said, "best onion rings I've ever had" and the Oxtail Boudin...OMG. So good as was the goat dumplings (did not photo). We came for the Dine Out Vancouver experience however
Great service & good food. I LOVE IT.
Awesome pizza place that has local ingredients and a unique variety of pizza flavors. Our group had a great experience and ordered a vegan flatbread, salad, and four different pizzas. Everything was amazing and didn't disappoint and the service was great. I highly recommend dining here!
This is the place if you looking for vegan and delicious pizza. Pasta is so yummy and of course vegan desserts ❤️❤️
Great atmosphere! Impeccable service! However the $16 personal pizzas were a disappointment. Tasteless and the dough was just dry and not exciting. Expected something better from an upscale place.
A very cozy place in Kitslano to have a nice meal with friends or family. They're always busy during the busy hours with dine-in and takeout customers. I like this place because their vegan options are very tasty as well.
We live outside Vancouver and make sure to stop here every time we visit. The food is amazing. Gluten free and vegan options that are some of the best we’ve had (charcuterie! pizza! pasta!). We love the kid-friendly atmosphere and that
Bishops is definitely a special place to go to. The service and food are highlights. We go for our special occasions. They may be expensive but they're set menus that are delicious! Love it there. Remember to make reservations.
I would totally go back on a special occasion. Food was very fresh and yummy.
Came here for dine out, the while some of the dishes on the menu we're odd (i suspect due to dine out), the ingredients were of fresh and of high quality.
I come here at least once a year and it seems to continually out do itself every time. Came for dine out and will be back for Valentine's Day next month. With John's personal touch of tirelessly greeting guests at their table, and the
I revisit this place for dine out festival. I had good memory with tasting menu and their service. The environment is very cozy and warm. Also the service was very kind and professional. However, the food was quite blend and I am not sure
Atmosphere was amazing. Hands down, love the decor. Menu had so many options as well, couldn't decide what to get. The menu was unique and interesting and the rolls were even better! The food is very reasonably priced, and the drinks were outstanding! Amazing time overall
Every thing was perfect ,costumer service , quality of the food and the environment which was pretty unique !! Completely different from other places that i went before. Lots of color and creativity specially in menu items .
My son and I went here last night on Halloween night. Great place. AMAZING sushi selections. Very fun ambiance and great friendly staff. Good portion, very tasty. I will certainly be back and will bring friends.
Food is delicious. Varied menu with some sushi options you likely won't see anywhere else. Love the decor. Service was excellent. Servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Cool dining experience with unique art. The tables are close to each other, felt like I was having dinner with the guests beside me. Pressed sushi was delicious but wasn’t a fan of the chicken wings. Service was fast and friendly.
It was a great experience of eating in a dark environment with everyone is not on their cell phone. Our waitress, Yuko, who is a really friendly and nice lady who served us well. It’s my first time feeling no regret to pay for 20% tip. Just like other reviews suggest, I wish the quality of food can keep up the standards to their service.
Very neat concept. The servers were so patient and nice to talk to. Food was high quality and flavorful. Loved the element of surprise. I felt a bit dizzy when I first entered but that subsided. This would have been a 5 star experience if the greeters outside the restaurant were friendlier and more organized.
Celebrated our post Anniversary at Dark Table. It was an awesome experience. It's something you should do once in your life. My only problem was, they said that they don't accept groupons on Saturdays unless you called in and talked to the
Definitely a unique experience and one I suggest trying. The service was excellent and the food was enjoyable. Dining in the dark really heightens your other senses such as taste, smell and hearing. We could hear conversations at other
Would recommend doing this as an experience, but probably only one. The service was great but the food didn't hold up to its standards. We went on Valentine's Day where they had a two course or three course surprise meal you could choose
Delicious, Amazing, wow !!! Presentation was absolutely beautiful and the taste followed suit.Service was excellent and perfectly paced between courses. Fancy and creative
Went there for brunch, great services, waiter very patient & detail oriented. Foods taste 👍🏽 met my expectation & portion just nice for lunch.
Came here with a couple of friends, we had a table reserved. Very cozy little place with delicious quality food. The bread and butter was really good for $4, especially the butter. Didn't taste like regular store bought butter, so
We had dinner here with a large group after a day of meetings. The chef had prepared a 10 course menu for us without having to go through the hassle of ordering. I'm not sure what creations we were all offered but the presentation of every
A really nice dinner, a bit on the pricey side but you’re paying a premium for farm to table. I got the special that evening which was an elk steak. I found it to be enjoyable, however slightly under seasoned. All the dishes we ordered were
Saying "I don't eat meat" in an unfriendly manner is not the right answer to "how is the lamb curry".This place could use friendlier servers honestly.
Very unique restaurant, food is amazing and service is very quick. Workers here are very humble and welcoming. Liked this place.
good food, unlimited feast, live music is good and not too loud. Nice place
The ambiance is gorgeous. I also love the fact that this place is owned and run by women.
Great food always, been here half a dozen of times. Took my family there ( for whom eating Indian food out is sinful ) loved it. Have taken their friends and frequent it more than I do.
Great food and service. I loved the place
I like the taste. The chicken pot pie was good. The shrimp is good but too small.
Daaaaaamnnnnn. That’s all I said when I bit into the grilled cheese sandwich!! 🤤🤤. Mac and cheese was also to die for! Cool place. Great atmosphere!
Lovely place, not too big, but with a certain charm. Food was delicious, but quite expensive for a pretty small portion. I'd go again though for the quality of the food and the boheme flair.
This isn’t my first time dining at Burgoo. I mean, a place dedicated to comfort food? Why am I not here more often?
I don’t really feel as though the prices live up to the taste of the food. It was good, yes, but not worth the really high prices. Thai food is easy to find in Vancouver, and I will continue to go to my other favorite spots. All the good reviews make this place seem mind-blowing, it’s really nothing special.
Don't know how this place wasn't in my radar till tonight a good friend took me here. Each dish is delicious!! The favorites are delicately balanced with fresh ingredients, and creative Thai recipes. The banana blossom soup is awesome. So
Came here for dine out on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was quite busy as all the tables were occupied. The service was quite good despite the restaurant being packed. The environment is a little on the loud side for me and the
Loved Maenam. Great flavours and atmosphere. Had a fantastic time. My friend and i sat at the bar and JD the bartender was awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Great recommendations.
Truly amazing food. Had the tuna cupcakes and the pork cheek salad. The pork fell was fall apart tender, and the dressing on the salad was a perfect balance of sweet and sour.
Excellent service. Our hostess found us a table close to where we could be with our dog and our server, Tim, took loads of time helping with our food and beverage order. The food was delicious and well presented. My kids loved their natural and flavourful milkshakes. We will definitely be back
Great place for a good brunch. I’ve only tried the eggs Benedict so far and they are amazing! Especially the Santa Fe ones. The staff is super friendly and the decoration inside makes the place quite unique. There can be a line outside on Sundays but it moves fast. Try the Viet coffee! You won’t regret it.
I've only gone for breakfast. It's outstanding, it really is. Bring an appetite because the portions are large and they taste so good and fresh you'll be tempted to try more. Can't wait for them to open up again.
Oh wow! Came here for brunch on a Sunday and was so pleased. The wait was short for a table. The little outdoor patio is really nice, the heaters make it comfortable in the cold March morning's. The service was friendly and professional. I
The diner is well decorated and their staff is great. The portions are REALLY well served. We had the French toast and there were at least 6 halves of a piece of toast, which was surprising (and delicious!). The Eggs Benedict are also very
A night to remember. Was my birthday and all the specialty items were to die for. Our server was one of a kind and very personable. Very attentive to making sure we had drinks full and belly's full. Thank you for an amazing experience.
Food is absolutely delactable. Highlights for me were the fungi linguini and lemon posit. Although for the linguini we opted no wine due to the kids as they don't like the taste, olive oil replacement was just as amazing.
Excellent restaurant, I would highly recommend it.If you're prepared to spend a bit more than your usual meal out, this place is awesome.
Very good selection of seasonal seafood that's cooked to perfection. The drinks are wonderful as well. Their open kitchen concept is really fascinating and fun to watch, especially watching all the prep work. Overall ambiance of the restaurant is great and we've always had friendly staff. Really recommend getting the oysters.
Really good seafood, and an extensive selection too. The daily specials are not just 1 or 2 items but around 10. Wine list is pretty lengthy too.
